Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ChessMind (chessmind.pro), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service. ChessMind is an AI-powered chess analysis and training platform that helps players improve through personalized analysis and structured training plans.

2. Account Registration

To use ChessMind, you must create an account using Google OAuth. By registering, you agree to provide accurate information and to keep your account credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You may also connect your Chess.com or Lichess account to enable game analysis.

3. Plans & Pricing

ChessMind offers both free and paid subscription plans:

  • Free Plan — Basic access to game analysis and limited training features.
  • Pro Monthly — $9.99/month. Full access to AI analysis, personalized training plans, and all premium features.
  • Pro Annual — $79.99/year (save 33%). All Pro features at a discounted annual rate.

Payments are processed securely through Lemon Squeezy. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. You may cancel at any time through your account settings or the Lemon Squeezy customer portal.

4. Refund Policy

If you are not satisfied with your subscription, you may request a refund within 14 days of your initial purchase. Refund requests can be made by contacting us at support@chessmind.pro. Renewals are non-refundable after the 14-day window.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its related systems.
  • Use automated scripts or bots to access the Service without prior authorization.
  • Resell, redistribute, or sublicense access to the Service.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of ChessMind — including but not limited to the software, algorithms, design, text, graphics, and logos — are the exclusive property of ChessMind and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Your chess games and analysis data remain your own property; however, you grant ChessMind a limited license to process this data to provide the Service.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. ChessMind does not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that analysis results will be perfectly accurate. Chess engine analysis is provided for educational purposes and should not be relied upon as the sole basis for competitive decisions.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ChessMind and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that we determine to be harmful to the Service or other users. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Any prepaid fees for the current billing period are non-refundable upon termination for cause.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by updating the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, by sending you an email notification. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the competent courts of Germany.
